The Giancotti company was founded in 1999 on the initiative of Giuseppe Giancotti, who involved his brother Aldo in developing a wholesale business in Calabrian olive oil. The business follows on the heels of his father's agricultural enterprise established in the 1970s, dedicated to olive growing in the hilly territory of the province of Catanzaro. Today the company carries out an efficient intermediation activity within the olive-oil supply chain, having specialized in the marketing of the finished product. Since 2013 we have wanted to face the challenge of the foreign market: today about 80% of our turnover is developed in Europe (France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg). We have built direct relationships with Italian restaurateurs in Europe, with chefs and with hotel and restaurant chains. This has allowed us to build a bond of trust with operators in the food service segment and with chefs, in order to develop new products that can be customized in taste and format.Our values are health, well-being, taste and attention to the environment. The value of our oil is recognized in the careful selection of the most suitable olive varieties according to the territories of cultivation and processing methods, which respect nature and the environment. We contribute to enhancing the value of extra virgin olive oil, proposing an informed and conscious consumption, also restoring value to agriculture and the people who work in it. We sell 100% Italian olive oil. We have a range of organic products. We guarantee a safe and healthy product. We are able to create innovative blends and customizable packaging. We establish lasting relationships of trust with the customer through certain services: zero-mile product storage, on-time and small-batch deliveries, customization, continuous innovation, organization of tasting events and product training.
