DESCRIPTION
Grown in Calabria on the Ionian coast in the Gulf of Squillace, at an altitude between 300 and 430 m a.s.l. Autochthonous Carolea Monocultivar variety.
SUGGESTIONS FOR USE
It is exquisite in fish dishes, delicate dishes, soups, boiled vegetables, salads and generally in all types of dishes of the Mediterranean diet.
ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS
Classifiable as fruity of medium intensity, with hint of fresh grass; slightly bitter and spicy flavor with aftertaste of green grass, artichoke and almond. Golden with greenish reflections.
STORAGE
Dark, dry at constant and controlled temperatures, in stainless steel containers with no air to prevent oxidation.
