Cold extracted EVO OIL

DESCRIPTION


Oil obtained from Carolea-type olives produced in Calabria, in the hills of the Gulf of Squillace, in the province of Catanzaro. It has the same characteristics as conventional extra virgin, but the method of oil extraction changes, in that, it is milled at a temperature below 27 degrees.


SUGGESTIONS FOR USE


Used to season and flavor various foods: raw on pinzimonio, soups, legumes and salads; in cooking on fish and delicate meats. Its smoke point makes it very suitable for frying. Suitable in dishes of the Mediterranean diet, it is recommended for use because of its richness in monounsaturated fatty acids. It has beneficial capacities due to the presence of antioxidant substances (phenols and tocopherols) and cholesterol-fighting properties.



ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS


Thanks to the cold extraction process, all the organoleptic characteristics of the oil remain intact, enhancing its scents and aromas to the fullest.


STORAGE


Dark, dry at constant and controlled temperatures, in stainless steel containers with no air to prevent oxidation.
