Origin : province of Trapani, countryside of Marsala and Mazara del Vallo
Climate : Mediterranean, mild winters, limited rainfall, very hot and windy summers
Soil : medium texture, sandy, slightly clayey, a few meters above sea level
Harvest : traditional, manual
Grapes : Grillo, Catarratto
Vinification : at a temperature of 18° – 20° C the fermentation is interrupted with the addition of wine alcohol
Aging : over 4 years in 80 and 50 hl Slavonian oak barrels.
Alcohol content : 18% vol
Color : light amber
Perfume : ethereal, with hints of cocoa
Taste : dry, soft with hints of dried fruit
Pairing : ideal with baked desserts, desserts with custard and spicy hard cheeses
