The history of the Gaspare Sarullo Oil Mill begins at the beginning of the last century in Calamonaci (AG), in a suggestive hilly area that has always been suited to olive growing, dominated by both centuries-old and recently planted olive trees of the native Biancolilla variety, from which an oil with a very pleasant light fruitiness is obtained.

The olive tree, a symbolic tree of the humanized Mediterranean landscape, has the function of long duration: it represents the history of the family, and is also a sign of lineage and a gift that is passed down from generation to generation.

The most modern technology for the best olive oil is combined with the family tradition that for four generations has involved everyone in this fascinating yet challenging adventure, thus fully interpreting one of the main corporate values which is the centrality of people, considered the most precious asset. A great team of people with different skills and experiences, but united by the same goal: to consolidate the culture of extra virgin and satisfy all customers in the best possible way.

Our mill is surrounded by a countryside characterized by Mediterranean plants including obviously many olive groves. Visitors to the company are offered walks among the olive trees and other cultural activities related to oil tourism.

The company takes care of all the phases of the entire olive-oil production chain: cultivation, processing, storage, bottling and marketing of the product, in addition to processing on behalf of third parties for numerous olive growers in the area. In addition to promotion and communication, Frantoio Oleario Gaspare Sarullo is dedicated to the dissemination of food education projects in schools and oil tasting workshops, organized in the premises of the ancient oil mill, transformed into a tasting room.

The company cultivates about 30 hectares of family land, also according to the organic farming regulations, IGP Sicily and in absolute respect of the environment.

The company takes care of and takes care of every phase of the entire olive-oil production chain in the smallest details. This meticulous care of the various processing steps determines the high quality of our oil, in short, all components that have allowed the extra virgin olive oil of the Frantoio Oleario Gaspare Sarullo to receive important prizes and prestigious awards in competitions and in industry guides over the years, entering the catering and distribution circuits in Italy and abroad.
