If the earth could speak, it would tell the story of Fiordelisi, a story that germinated in 1954 in the fertile Apulian plain, the Tavoliere, a location known since ancient times as a fertile place for agriculture. It would tell of the passion and commitment of Antonio Fiordelisi, forefather of the family and founder of the company, who was the first to dedicate himself to the cultivation and production of vegetables in those rich sun-kissed lands. In 1978, his four children joined the project, which was already beginning to take on the appearance of something bigger. Precious allies were the sun and the mild, dry climate, characteristic of the area, which favored the first experiments in the production and preservation of dried tomatoes, today the pride and strength of Fiordelisi. The climate and the natural propensity of the land for growing vegetables contributed to rewarding the commitment and passion of the four brothers. In 1995, after long and careful research aimed at guaranteeing the best quality of the raw material, in full respect of nature and authenticity, the first production of semi-dried tomatoes saw the light. Fiordelisi is the leader in the European market for the production of sun-dried vegetables, the undisputed leader in the production of dried and semi-dried tomatoes. In addition to these, a wide range of vegetables such as aubergines, courgettes, artichokes, peppers and chillies, both dried and grilled. Semi-finished or finished products, such as round chillies stuffed with tuna or goat's cheese, tasty creams and pâtés, as well as olives and tasty mixes of sun-dried vegetables.
