Caseificio Preziosa, known by the brand “Mozzarella di Seriate”, was founded on 12 September 1950 by its founder, Mr. Teodosio Preziosa, as an artisanal laboratory for the production of mozzarella and dairy products in general. Today, almost seventy years later, it is a modern food company that artisanally transforms approximately 110,000 litres of milk daily, collected from 40 historic local farms that still provide the raw material in a family relationship and consolidated in tradition, thus becoming a strong source of pride for the company and a fundamental point of reference for territorial identity that thus represents an exclusivity in the Lombardy regional panorama. The indisputable quality of the products made by the company is given by three key factors: a process that artisanally respects the times of transformation of milk into cheese, the use of top quality raw materials and innovative and technological systems.
