ANTONIO'S ARTISAN PRESERVES FROM CALABRIA: We are located in Capistrano (VV), and we are one of the very few companies in Calabria that process products directly from the raw material, using fresh produce and not products stored in brine barrels. The process follows ancient traditions passed down through two generations of merchants and street vendors, who used to prepare their homemade preserves and sell them in the various markets throughout the Preserre Calabresi area. The entire production process is carried out by hand, from peeling the products to filling the jars and the final sterilization. We do not use any chemical additives; we believe that oil itself is a natural preservative. Our goal is to bring to our customers’ tables a product that evokes the authentic taste of “homemade food.” Therefore, the slogan we use to present ourselves at trade fairs, in small shops, and online is: “For us, it is called Boccaccio because inside it, there is poetry.”
