Classification: Rosso Verona IGT - Intense 13.50% ABV Description: A full-bodied red wine with an intense and brilliant ruby color. On the nose, the characteristic aroma of black cherries and ripe berries with a hint of vanilla from the aging in oak barrels. On the palate, it is ripe and fruity, typical of the red grapes of Verona, Corvina Rondinella and Molinara and other important red grapes. Complex, intense, round, easier to drink. Characteristics: Vinified in red at a controlled temperature to preserve the most prized aromas and extract the most intense colors of the grapes, a variety often a little stingy in color. All according to the established Veronese technique, which enhances the olfactory sensations and the structure of the red wines of Verona. A further 6 months of aging in the bottle gives further characteristics of complexity to the palate and nose. Vineyards of origin: Produced in selected hilly locations in the Province of Verona and south of Lake Garda. Harvest: Traditional, manual in small crates. Soil: dark with little clay, mixed texture of rocky disintegration mixed with small stones with an almost neutral pH. Aging / Refining: Rosso Verona IGT Intenso is obtained after fermentation and separation from the heavy lees, aged in large barrels with frequent and gentle batonage for a few months to favor the extraction of the varietal aromas and then subsequently at least 6 months in bottle before being released for sale. This strong wine, with its imposing structure and good alcohol content, lends itself perfectly to aging for several years, improving its complexity without fearing the signs of aging.
