'RISO DEL VÒ' VIALONE NANO CLASSIC SEMI-FINISHED

RISO DEL VO' Vialone Nano Classico Semi-Worked , grown in spring waters and generated from original Vialone Nano seeds , is cared for from the seed to the packaging and is a naturally gluten-free product with certified supply chain traceability that can be verified simply by framing the QR code printed on the back of the bag with your smartphone.

Vialone Nano Classico is a rice with a porous grain , which completely absorbs the flavor of the seasoning used . It is suitable for all risottos, especially risottos with tasty seasonings (meat, mature cheeses, mushrooms, radicchio, etc.).

Semi-worked rice is a semi-whole grain stone-worked rice which, unlike Vialone Nano Classico, is slightly darker because it is less worked ; this makes the grain even tastier, rich in nutritional properties and with 70% more fibre than Vialone Nano Classico and Nano Vialone Veronese PGI. Furthermore , Vialone Nano Classico Semi-worked maintains its consistency for a long time even once cooked .

The Classic Rice regulation, active since the 2018 sowing campaign, is very restrictive and provides for:

  • the exclusive use of Certified Original Seed

  • the sowing limit per hectare in order not to exhaust the rice fields (in the case of Vialone Nano Classico it goes from a minimum of 180 kg to a maximum of 220 kg of original seed per hectare)

  • the separate and identified storage of the Classico paddy rice harvested from any rice generated from non-original seeds

  • an analytical documentation that must be kept by each agricultural company and sent in copy to the National Rice Board which carries out checks on the veracity of the documentation
