Origin: province of Trapani, Salemi and Mazara del Vallo countryside


Climate: Mediterranean, mild winters, limited rainfall, very hot, windy summers


Soil: medium texture, sandy, slightly clayey, a few meters above sea level


Harvest: mechanized


Grape variety: Frappato


Vinification: traditional, with long maceration at controlled temperature


Alcohol content: 12.50% vol.


Color: ruby red


Perfume: intense with sensations of red fruit


Taste: herbaceous and harmonious, medium structure


Pairing: goes well with delicate white and red meat dishes and fatty fish


Service: medium sized glasses, can be uncorked at the moment, excellent at 16° – 18° C


Storage: constant temperature 16° C, controlled light
