BARDOLINO DOC Description: This wine has a deep Ruby Red color, with a savory and captivating aroma typical of the vines from which Corvina mainly comes, Rondinella and Molinara, a blend that brings back to the most precious notes of Veronese Wines with sumptuous elegant notes typical of the grapes, with a body and a structure strengthened by the grapes of origin, an important and elegant structure and always pleasant to drink. Vinification: The grapes are harvested early October, to get the best from the various berries without losing in elegance but increasing the typical aromas complexed by the unique blend of the Rossi Veronesi, Vinified in steel in red but at a controlled temperature with the use of particular aromatic extracting yeast able to enhance the peculiarities' of the vines strengthening the varietal characters. The cleaning of the wine from the heavy lees is then followed by decanting aimed at separating the heavier lees, followed by delicate pumping over to keep the more elegant lees in suspension to give notes of stability to color and structure. Area of production: The grapes are selected from our vineyards south of Lake Garda Soil: White clay soil but with coarse texture of hill permeable by PH Alkaline Aging: The Bardolino aged in cistern and, to promote the “smoothing” of tannins, and then later 6 months in the bottle before being put on sale. The strong wine of its own structure lends itself to aging for periods even longer than 5 years without feeling the weather but improving both complexity and elegance.
