Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG

Classification: Amarone della Valpolicella Classico - DOCG Description: Full/bodied with hints of ripe fruit, black cherry and cherry on the nose and mouth, bitter chocolate in the finish. Characteristics: The grapes are dried at a controlled temperature for 3 months until their weight is reduced by 40%. After soft pressing followed by slow fermentation in steel tanks. 2/3 of the wine is aged in large oak barrels for around two years and a third is aged for 18 months in barrique, followed by a final refinement in the bottle for at least 6 months before being put on sale. Vineyards of origin: terraced vineyards facing south in the Valpolicella Classica area north of the city of Verona. Harvest: Strictly manual, in small boxes to avoid damaging the grapes in late October. Available format: 0.75L bottles, boxes of 6 Borgognotta bottles, 650 grams, vertical. Natural cork standard.
