Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG
Classification: Amarone della Valpolicella Classico - DOCG Description: Full-bodied with hints of ripe fruit, black cherry and cherry on the nose and palate, bitter chocolate on the finish. Characteristics: The grapes are dried at a controlled temperature for 3 months until they reduce their weight by 40%. After a soft pressing followed by a slow fermentation in steel tanks. 2/3 of the wine is aged in large oak barrels for about two years and a third is aged for 18 months in barriques, followed by a final refinement in the bottle for at least 6 months before being released for sale. Vineyards of origin: south-facing terraced vineyards in the Valpolicella Classica area north of the city of Verona. Harvest: Strictly manual, in small crates to avoid damaging the grapes in late October. Available format: 0.75L bottles, boxes of 6 Borgognotta scro 650 grams bottles, vertical. Natural cork standard.
