Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG
Classification: Amarone della Valpolicella Classico - DOCG Description: Full-bodied with aromas of ripe fruit, black cherry and cherry, on the nose and palate, and bitter chocolate on the finish. Characteristics: The grapes are dried at a controlled temperature for 3 months until they reduce by 40% of their weight. After a soft pressing, followed by a slow fermentation in steel tanks. Two-thirds of the wine is aged in large oak barrels for approximately two years and a third is aged for 18 months in barriques, followed by a final refinement in the bottle for at least 6 months before being released for sale. Vineyards of origin: South-facing terraced vineyards in the Valpolicella Classica area north of the city of Verona. Harvest: Strictly manual, in small crates to avoid damaging the grapes in late October. Available formats: 0.75L bottles, boxes of 6. Borgognotta scro 650 grams, vertical. Natural cork standard.
