Casa Morana is located in Scicli, a land known for the eccentric beauty of its Baroque architecture and stunning natural landscapes. We are in southeastern Sicily, a few kilometers from the coast, in a place with a mild and welcoming climate, gently caressed by the sun. The favorable location allows us to take advantage of an ideal environment for the production of an excellent tomato, healthy and tasty, which in turn makes unique the quality of our preserves, which encapsulate all the flavor of our land of Sicily. For generations in the Morana Family we have been involved in Vegetables and have specialized particularly in the production of tomatoes. The innovation that combines with tradition allows us to use evolved technologies in cultivation methods, while respecting the naturalness of plantations thanks also to integrated pest management, which allows us to naturally defend crops from harmful diseases and insects. We thus obtain by doing so a genuine tomato, which expresses at its best its organoleptic characteristics, in terms of taste and fragrance, and which will then be processed in an artisanal way, doing so as our fathers have always taught us. Our tomato preserves are created to delight true lovers of cooking, those who know how to appreciate the quality of raw materials and distinguish the authenticity of recipes. To prepare them, we are inspired by the teachings of our grandparents who, every summer, carefully selected the best tomatoes from the harvest to turn them into sauces and preserves. Therefore, our processing remains artisanal and is designed to respect our land and its gastronomic culture. This is how we manage to encapsulate, in each of our products, the most authentic flavors of Sicilian tradition, in all their genuineness.
