PASTIFICIO SOMMA S.A.S. DI SOMMA SATURNO
https://www.pastasomma.it/
The history of Pastificio Somma began at the end of the 15th century when the production of 'macaroni', not mainly for family use, was practised in simple workshops and was a secondary activity compared to milling.
Today, the Somma workshop is still a small business, purely artisan in vocation (own and limited production), producing pasta in the same premises where centuries ago wheat was milled and then turned into pasta; it is located in the heart of Gragnano's historic centre (today's Piazza Marconi, just under the arch), universally recognised as the 'cradle of macaroni' in the province of Naples.
