Madeo is an Agribusiness Chain born from the intuition of young entrepreneur Ernesto Madeo, who during the 1990s started a long journey to recover and select the genetics of the Black Pig of Calabria.
The territory of the Filiera is the ideal habitat for this native breed and provides optimal conditions for its breeding.
We have been producing traditional cured meats for two generations and are committed to the development and enhancement of the National Cain 100% of pure Italian Black Pig.
All our products, from the grains for the pigs to the spices that flavor the cured meats, come from the organized system of 100% Calabrian Chain and are made with only local and natural raw materials, under an organic regime, strictly in the open field.
Our Calabrian chili cream, made from the typical "Roggianese" and "Cornetto" varieties, characterizes our cured meats with a deep red color and a pleasantly spicy flavor.
Organic extra virgin olive oil is made from olives of the Roggianella, Carolea, Dolce di Rossano cultivars, which are pressed within 24 hours of harvesting. Cold pressed and bottled in the family mill, as well as being used as an ingredient in NOBLE 'Nduja spread that contains 20 percent of our EVO and BIO oil.
Production undergoes strict controls at every stage and is carried out with respect to wholesomeness and tradition.

Typical Calabrian cured meats such as the renowned 'Nduja and Spianata piccante
D.O.P. Salumi di Calabria: Salsiccia, Soppressata, Capocollo and Pancetta
Italian Black Pig Meats and Cold Cuts from the 5 native breeds recognized and certified by Mipaaf (Ministry of Agricultural Food and Forestry Policies): Nero di Calabria, Nero dei Nebrodi, Casertana, Cinta Senese and Mora Romagnola.
Prosciutto Crudo di Suino Nero and Nerocotto are the spearheads of the line.
