Cantina Ariano S.S. Agricola

The modern structure of Cantina Ariano stands on one of the family-owned estates, occupying an area of approximately 9,000 square meters, of which over 1,000 square meters are covered and spread over two floors. The ground floor is partially dedicated to winemaking, bottling, packaging, and administrative offices; about 200 square meters are mezzanined to host a tasting room overlooking the cellar. In the northern part, we find the crushing area with the grape unloading tank, the crusher-destemmer, a soft drain press, and a heat exchanger to reduce the temperature of the crushed grapes. This area is preceded by the main cellar, where the stainless steel storage tanks are located, most of which are insulated to allow controlled temperature fermentations. There is an enological analysis laboratory sized to meet the needs of the cellar, allowing for monitoring of all production phases. The basement, divided into three rooms, houses the barrel room for the aging of fine red wines in wood, consisting of French oak barriques and 400 and 500-liter tonneaux, the bottle storage area, and the warehouse for all packaging materials. The company also features a sales point where products can be purchased directly.
