Taurasi CRU Coste

The Taurasi Coste is produced with selected grapes exclusively from the Costa locality, particularly from vineyards aged between 20 and 30 years. The area is characterized by a clay-limestone soil, with coarse grain and relatively compact. The harvest took place in mid-October 2012. The rows have a distance of about 2.50 meters from each other, in a moderately ventilated and well-exposed space, although subject to morning humidity at certain times of the year. The grapes have medium-sized clusters with square shape and very intense spherical berries, with pulp rich in mineral substances and sugars, thin skins with a high concentration of anthocyanins and tannins.
