La Bella Novella

The Bella Novella is a potato grown in the coastal areas of the province of Syracuse with an oval shape, medium size, smooth, thin and golden skin, and yellow and slightly floury pulp. It is the queen of potatoes given its beauty, without residues of soil and free of lumps or growths, and brings with it its precious nutrients (antioxidants, vitamins and minerals) hence the Sicilian saying "Cu mancia potatoes nu mori mai" .
