Selection of 100% Barbera grapes. It undergoes a process of thinning the bunches to obtain greater quality. It is left to age for a minimum of 18 months in oak barrels, which gives it an intense purple-red color with garnet reflections. Intense aroma with hints of dried fruit and jam, light balsamic notes. A pleasantly fruity and well-structured wine, tannic on the palate. Pleasant with stewed red meats, grilled meats, game, appetizers, cured meats and mature cheeses. DOCG denomination since 1970.
