Azienda Agricola Il Pucino

The agricultural company Il Pucino was founded back in 1997 by Maurizio de Vonderweid, the current owner. Initially, it focused on the experimental cultivation of Aloe Arborescens along the windy coast of Trieste. However, due to adverse climatic conditions, the cultivation was moved to Valderice in Sicily, where the plants could grow in an uncontaminated environment with ideal climatic conditions. In 2003, the company obtained authorization for the production of Food Supplements based on Aloe, which marked the beginning of the development of Vonderweid Supplements. In 2010, the company decided to expand its product range by introducing Colloidal Silver, acquiring an innovative certified machine from the United States. The company continued to cultivate and select the best varieties of Aloe, becoming the largest open-air cultivation of Aloe Arborescens in Italy, and adding a plantation of Aloe Vera in 2015. In 2017, the company purchased and renovated a warehouse to create a new headquarters, thus increasing organizational efficiency and production capacity.
